CFA Hamilton Palace Grounds debuts the brand’s signature US Drive-Thru experience on 29 October
Glasgow (13 October 2026) – Chick-fil-A® introduces its first-ever drive-thru service in the UK with the opening of its first restaurant in Scotland, Chick-fil-A Hamilton Palace Grounds, on 29 October 2026. The opening represents the next milestone in Chick-fil-A’s UK expansion, introducing Guests in Scotland to its freshly-prepared food and hospitality through dine-in, takeaway and now its signature drive-thru service.

Chick-fil-A’s drive-thru experience provides much more than a convenient way to order, it combines speed, accuracy and consistency with the personal service the brand is known for.
Chick-fil-A introduces a new drive-thru experience to the UK with Team Members taking orders face to face rather than relying solely on a speaker box. By taking orders on handheld tablets, Team Members can answer questions and send orders directly to the kitchen while Guests move through the queue, helping create a more efficient and personal drive-thru visit. For Scottish Guests, it will be the first opportunity to experience the drive-thru model Chick-fil-A has refined in the U.S., thoughtfully designed to create a welcoming and efficient experience.

A new milestone in Scotland
The opening of Chick-fil-A Hamilton marks the latest step in the brand’s UK expansion and long-term commitment to invest over $100 million in the UK over the next 10 years.
As part of its commitment to creating a positive local impact, the restaurant will create approximately 100 full and part-time jobs in the local area. It will also participate in Chick-fil-A Shared Table, a programme that redirects surplus food to local organisations, supporting local people in need.

Opening hours: Chick-fil-A Hamilton Palace Grounds will serve Guests Monday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
The restaurant will be closed on Sundays, continuing a tradition established by Chick-fil-A founder Truett Cathy to give Team Members a day off to spend as they choose.
